Hi,

I use telegram-purple[0], which changed the directory of its authentication data from ~/.telegram-purple to ~/.purple/telegram-purple. Since then Empathy asks me on each login to authenticate myself using SMS messages [1].

The reason seems to be that telepathy-haze stores data created by libpurple in a temporary directory, which results in loosing the authentication data [2].

After some further discussion with the telegram-purple developer I close this again. He says it is a bug on his side and he wants to work on it.
