Created attachment 115049 [details] Files to reproduce the issue, see description. When source PDF contains multiple references to the same image resource, Poppler output has this image duplicated as many times. The very original image is the attached slowpptx.pptx (80k). It was converted to pdf using LibreOffice 4.3.1, resulting in attached slowpptx.lo.pdf (35k). Result of > pdftocairo.exe -svg -f 1 -l 1 slowpptx.lo.pdf produces a 1.7M svg (slowpptx.lo.svg.zip), which contains the same image duplicated 1741 times. Same thing happens with > pdftohtml.exe -f 1 -l 1 slowpptx.lo.pdf so I assume this is not related to Cairo. Thanks Dmitry (Internal ref PCC-22530)
