This is a follow-up of the bug #90370. source engine games produce tons of graphical glitches, unless R600_DEBUG='switch_on_eop' is defined. Tested with dota2/portal2. For portal2, the amount of glitches depends on the level you choose.
There are still some glitches, but they are rare.
Hi, I follow https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90370 and https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90484 R600_DEBUG='switch_on_eop' doesn't work for VERDE. Some glitches appear at screen as before, maybe even worse. I've tested L4D2 only.
all git from today, linux agd5f drm-fixes-4.1, llvm, mesa, xserver, drm, xorg evdev, xorg ati. dota2/portal2 still unplayable without R600_DEBUG='switch_on_eop' on tahiti xt, that because of the graphic glitches.
Thx to the mailing list, I caught the bug related to my issue: #88978 verbatim llvm won't work properly for SI hardware at all till those nasty bugs are solved (still some glitches left).
Based on work done from the mailing list, it seems the BO move may be related to some of the remaining glitches.
