I'm running Ubuntu 12.04.5 32-bit on a 64-bit capable processor, so I selected x86 - sorry if I'm in the wrong spot. One to three times per week at work (40 hours/week) everything except the mouse cursor becomes unresponsive for about five to ten seconds. All I can do is move the cursor around until the screen catches up. All of my applications appear to run fine during this - I just can't see them update as I'm stuck looking at whatever happened to be on my screen at the time it hangs. This has happened on at least seven different machines with the same hardware. It'll happen again if you'd like me to test something, but I honestly have no idea how to reproduce this bug. The only thing I can think of is our application that uses fox toolkit and OpenGL. I'll try to see if it happens outside of the application, but up until now I haven't noticed one way or the other. The only issue I've noticed after the freeze is the occasional character that won't display. For example, all of a sudden it won't display the letter 'U' in the terminal I had open, but I can copy and paste the text out or open up a new terminal and it'll work fine. If there's anything else I should include, please let me know. I'm not normally one to submit bugs, so I'm not up on the whole process as of yet. I wish I could reproduce it intentionally, but I figured I'd post it due to how often it happens. Thanks!
