Description Adam Jackson 2004-07-20 16:04:30 UTC
With a recent Xorg CVS checkout, and '#define NothingOutsideProjectRoot' and a
custom ProjectRoot in host.def, 'make install' as a normal user fails trying to
install /etc/init.d/xprint.

${ProjectRoot}/etc/init.d would probably be a better place if
|NothingOutsideProjectRoot|.
Comment 1 Roland Mainz 2004-07-20 16:27:34 UTC
What is the exact purpose of |NothingOutsideProjectRoot| ? Just to build only
items which belong into ProjectRoot or just to install items which reside within
ProjectRoot ?
Comment 2 Adam Jackson 2004-07-23 14:07:25 UTC
i think it's neither; rather it forces everything to be installed under ProjectRoot.
Comment 3 Adam Jackson 2004-08-02 18:50:05 UTC
since 972 is a release blocker, close this one
