Description Jon 2015-05-29 01:14:53 UTC
This is a branch off of bug#90688
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90688
My thinkpad x230 is running fedora 22 and when moving the mouse pointer with the nipple it seems that all input from the touchpad is dropped. I would really like to two finger scroll while I move the mouse pointer.

Sorry, I'll have to withdraw the patch. I forgot that this was actually a feature that was intended. This is part of palm detection:
http://wayland.freedesktop.org/libinput/doc/latest/palm_detection.html

And the goal is that accidental touches while using the trackpoint (or even resting the palm on the pad) don't move the pointer.

Sorry, this is unfortunately incompatible with the moving+scrolling option, so I'll have to close this as a wontfix for now. We can maybe revisit this in the future but for the immediate future it'll stay as-is.
