Output of dmesg (see detail in description)

'xset dpms force off' turns the screen blank but the LCD backlight remains on.

Linux kernel 4.0.5 running on a MacbookPro 11,3.

dmesg.txt attached from running kernel with 'nouveau.debug=VBIOS=trace,I2C=debug,DISP=debug,DRM=debug drm.debug=0xe' and should contain output generated from running xset dpms force off at the end of file.
