Hi,

Are you sure an fd.o account is what you need? You more or less only need it to push changes, which the maintainers are the ones who do. If you are looking to contribute patches to the Wayland project (which you filed this bug against), there is no need for this type of account; what you do is subscribe to the mailing list and post patches using git-send-email. You can read more about it here: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/wayland/wayland/tree/doc/Contributing

Hi Jonas,
Basically, I want to join the event of https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91199, which requests an account to edit wiki page of http://www.x.org/wiki/Events/XDC2015/Attendees/, that's how it ends up with requesting this account.
Or if there is any other way to apply to this event without creating this account, that would be good too.
Thanks,
Frank

E-mail tom at stellard.net and let him know you plan to attend it and he will add you to the list of attendees.

I suppose this problem got solved without needing to get an account. Marking as resolved.
