Description soren121 2015-07-03 06:37:08 UTC
I have a 2015 Dell XPS 13 with a Synaptics clickpad. Frequently, when I right-click using the soft-button area, the cursor will get "stuck down"; that is to say, I have to click-and-drag to move the cursor. I haven't experienced this issue with the libinput driver.

No errors appear in dmesg or journalctl. Any advice on how to get valuable debugging info would be helpful. Thanks.

run evemu-record against the device and try to reproduce it (pls restart it when it doesn't happen to keep the recording short). That should make it reproducible here and debugging easier.

I've been unable to reproduce this bug, artificially or by accident, for the past two weeks, and I used to encounter it a few times per day. I'm closing this bug on the assumption that it was fixed.
