Description Alex 2015-07-16 18:49:05 UTC
Hi,

I'm playing a flash game on Facebook, Criminal Case if that matters, and up to yesterday everything was ok. Yesterday, I discovered that it was absolutely impossible to play the game in full screen mode without Chrome intervening and switching off Hardware acceleration automatically. There are two choices now. I have to either play the game in it's normal windowed mode or have hardware acceleration switched off for fullscreen mode. It's the first time this is happening. There was absolutely no problem till the day before yesterday.

Chrome: Version 43.0.2357.134 (64-bit)
OS: Xubuntu 14.04 (64-bit)
Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965
Driver version: 2.99.917
2.1 Mesa 10.6.2
Kernel: 3.19.0-22-generic

Any suggestions please?

Things just got worse with the new Chrome 44. Now I cannot play any videos correctly on fullscreen mode. Video freezes and a Chrome crash message appears. Hardware acceleration does not get switched off but nothing works correctly on any tab afterwards, unless I close Chrome completely and restart it.

I have confirmed 100% that nothing like that happens on either nvidia or ATI video adapters.

Please test a new version of Mesa (12 or 13) and mark as REOPENED
if you can reproduce and RESOLVED/* if you cannot reproduce.
