Created attachment 117585 [details] contents of /sys/class/drm/card0/error Not sure if this is new or duplicate, but I guess you'll be able to tell better and more easily than I would. It's a brand new braswell / asrock n3150-itx board, with a fresh install of archlinux including 4.1.4 kernel on x86_64 It crashes while starting to play video, not every video, but on some more easily than on others, enabling hdmi audio seems to have exacerbated the issue. ------------8<------------------ [ 279.329152] [drm] stuck on render ring [ 279.348140] [drm] GPU HANG: ecode 8:0:0x85dffffb, in kodi.bin [429], reason: Ring hung, action: reset [ 279.348147] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace. We seem to have neglected the bug a bit, apologies. There were improvements pushed in kernel and Mesa that will benefit to your system, so please re-test with latest kernel & Mesa to see if this issue is still occurring. In parallel, assigning to Mesa product (please let me know if I am mistaken with this GPU Hang).
