Hello, this probably is valves bug, but its not fixed for a year now, maybe you can take look?

With every linux when using hardware vaapi decode, I tested ivy and sandy bridge hd3000 and hd4000, scaling is broken in window mode.


STEPS
Run any game over streaming with hw decoding enabled to use vaapi decoder

RESULTS
After ALT+ENTER video in window mode is not sized like it should be.

Does the two images show the issue ?

Yes, its less visible on first image cause its full screen window, but on
right of that image, there is more black space than on left side.. its like
second image just less black space..

It seems the upper layer application provides wrong parameters. could you provide the original issue link so that I can understand the issue better?
