Created attachment 117667 [details] error state with nightly Running TUtM webgl demo on chromium results in system death, but i915.reset=0 lets me get the error state from it. This using nightly from yesterday: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/drm-intel-nightly/2015-08-13-unstable/ distro is Ubuntu 15.04 updated to current, but chromium downgraded to 41.x so that webgl works, maybe some config option needs to be turned on too.. Reproduce steps: - open chromium - go to https://www.chromeexperiments.com/experiment/a-trip-under-the-moonlight - open the demo - after grabbing the ship with left mouse button, move it around rapidly for a few seconds
oh, first you need to install chromium: apt install chromium-browser=41.0.2272.76-0ubuntu1.1134 looks like this version has webgl enabled by default, the newer version has it permanently disabled AIUI My SKL-H is MBSH1SEVA SDP, gpu rev04.
More tips to reproduce: Zoom close in to the center mast of the ship so that the center sail is about 50% visible. Spin it around rapidly with left mouse button. Hangs in few seconds.
