Display Configuration :
Display connector > eDP

Reproducing steps:
------------------
1-Boot the system only with eDP connected
2-Download the script attached called "suspend_stress_test.shell" and execute the following command as root:
#./suspend_stress_test.shell --iterations=2000 --mode=mem --suspend=55-65 --wake=25-35 --abort=none --display=error --file=mem-results

Current results:
-----------------
After some iterations the DUT restarts

Actual results :
-----------------
The DUT should be finish with the suspend stress tests script after 2000 iterations

Additional info:
------------------
The file "S3.zip" contains the following :
-suspend_stress_test.shell, which is the script to run the tests
-kernel_logs folder, which contains logs from : dmesg, GPU_crash_dump_file, GPU_hang, Xorg.
-mem-results_1run_2000-iterations.rtf, which is the log for the first run
-mem-results_2run_2000-iterations.rtf, which is the log for the second run

Reproducibility :
-----------------
2/2 attemps

Also include that it was run with the following firmware :

Firmware : skl_guc_v4_3.bin / skl_guc_ver3.2-signed-1.0.0.1137.bin
Comment 2 Imre Deak 2016-09-27 11:05:21 UTC
Also happens on a
SKL U – ULT 2+3E (in CI fi-skl-6260u),
triggered by
igt/kms_pipe_crc_basic/suspend-read-crc-pipe-c
Comment 3 Imre Deak 2016-09-27 12:01:14 UTC
Please try the same test by booting with
'modprobe.blacklist=i915,snd_hda_intel'.
Comment 4 Ricardo 2017-02-21 17:14:22 UTC
Humberto can you please retest with the suggestion made by Imre Deak

Hi Imre

in order to understand more about you failure with the igt test reported, could you explain how this test was fail please?

according the last run in our KBL this test was pass with fastfeedback testlist

It produces a dmesg WARN/ERROR, or didn't resume properly (hanged or rebooted without any logs).

Ok. The logs for the CI fail I reported are not available any more. Since that was a long time ago, I'd suggest closing the bug if it's not reproducible with either your script or by running igt/kms_pipe_crc_basic/suspend-* tests.
