Please try latest v4.3-rc kernel. If the problem persists, please add drm.debug=14 module parameter, and attach the dmesg. Please do not add ioctl debugging, it's too verbose, and without that you don't need to compress the logs. Thanks.

dmesg with drm.debug=14

I hope it's really the same problem.
Comment 6 stefan 2015-10-29 13:44:59 UTC
This message has disapeared after update to mainline kernel 4.3-rc7.
Comment 7 Serhiy Zahoriya 2015-10-29 15:39:29 UTC
stefan, did you have a reliable way of triggering it? For me it's still present on 4.3-rc7, though it became harder to trigger just by using KDE for several hours. But it's still triggers always after loading a latest version of Don't Starve Together game (uses OpenGL). Also I tried Phoronix gputest, and it didn't trigger this.
Comment 8 stefan 2015-10-30 16:35:49 UTC
Hi,

it happened every time I switch from X to text console, or after a while when I start a new video in kodi. The message disappeared after updating to kernel 4.3-rc7.

ciao
Stefan

Everytime means not that this message comes more then once. Only that this was the trigger for this message.
Comment 10 Serhiy Zahoriya 2015-11-04 08:10:48 UTC
Reproducible on 4.3

I wasn't able to reproduce it on the nightly build from 2015-11-11 http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/drm-intel-nightly/2015-11-11-wily/
Linux x502 4.3.0-994-generic #201511112100 SMP Thu Nov 12 02:02:26 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Comment 12 kgizdov 2016-11-01 13:46:15 UTC
I am able to reproduce this on every boot with kernel 4.8.6 on a Dell XPS 13 9350.

John - sorry about ignoring this too long. If you still see this as a problem can you please provide crash log? see https://01.org/linuxgraphics/documentation/how-get-gpu-error-state.
Comment 16 Ricardo 2017-05-30 17:58:15 UTC
based on the lack of activity and a response from the submitter to update results with latest configuration the bug will be closed
