Copying text and images (like from a browser or a word processor) from/to virtual machines and hosts/clients is not actually supported. Actually only text and image formats are supported. image+text require either HTML or RTF formats. See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1247535 for similar request on RedHat product.
