Created attachment 117991 [details] Xorg Log Starting an X Server instance will crash more or less just after it starts. This can happen under the following instances: * Starting X via startx (with i3) * Starting X with openbox * Starting X via XWayland with Weston (leaves the same error message in westons logs) This happened out of the blue and I can't figure out why. I *do* know it's not a hardware fault as weston and sway (another wayland wm) run fine. I'm not sure what additional information I can give other than before I rebooted I had been using i3 for quite a bit and then suddenly nothing would start. Packages: libdrm-git-5664.ab2fada-1 llvm-svn-246303-1 mesa-git-72388.2581fe9-1 xf86-video-ati-git-3252.270da55-1 GPU: RadeonHD 7950 CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K

The error I get which is not in the log file is: (II) [KMS] Kernel modesetting enabled. Xorg: glamor_vbo.c:70: glaamor_get_vbo_space: Assertion `epoxy_gl_Get_error() == 0` failed.xinit: giving up (Then the standard unable to connect stuff) This only happend with Xorg, wayland based wms are quite happy to start. Unfortunately I've never debugged glamor problems before so any help is appreciated.
Moved to Driver/Radeon as I tested an intel GPU which worked fine.
Apologies, I was messing about with MESA_GL_OVERRIDE in /etc/profile which surely resulted in bad numbers for glamor.
