flicking problem

We has been analyzing a bug where we see flicker the first time Video overlay is used. I have enclosed images which should highlight the issue:
1)6865 -> Everything is GPU composited and in one single buffer.
2)6895 -> Video is moved to a separate buffer and Video plane is enabled first time.
3)6906->This is the next frame after Overlay has been initialized first time.

The expected result is that 6895 is same as 6865 and 6906. These images are taken by me from high speed camera.

Can you please attach your Xorg.0.log so we know which hardware you are using (and xvinfo might be interesting)?

I have been checking HW Overlays support in Chrome on my Haswell device with all needed Atomic support being currently worked on and haven't been able to reproduce this issue. Perhaps you could work with Sean Kelly (sean.v.kelley@intel.com) to further diagnose this issue?
