Description Marcin Mielniczuk 2015-09-08 13:11:31 UTC
I'm using Ubuntu 15.04 amd64, kernel 4.1.6 on Asus T200TA. I switch to tty, and execute

    # echo freeze > /sys/power/state

and wake the computer up. After this touchscreen works as expected. Then I start a new X server:

    # xinit -- :1

Then from the newly created xterm

    # echo freeze > /sys/power/state

After waking up the computer, the touchscreen input ceases to work.
I switch the X server, either to the tty or to the Unity session. The touchscreen works back. I switch back to the X server I suspended from. The touchscreen works.

This issue was previously reported against the kernel #102611, considered invalid (the kernel driver works), thus is reported here.
