Looks like 74c1e45ed5797eca5dec6dcea8f6f734d23d0f89 is the first bad commit commit 74c1e45ed5797eca5dec6dcea8f6f734d23d0f89 Author: Chris Wilson <chris@chris-wilson.co.uk> Date: Wed Aug 19 21:08:58 2015 +0100 sna/dri2: Look for potential flip targets when recreating backbuffers As the window may be reparented during its swap lifetime, we may be able to recreate the backbuffer ready for flipping next swap. What is "fullscreen video"? Can you please attach your Xorg.0.log here?
Created attachment 118194 [details] Xorg.0.log Sorry, originally metioned here https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91721#c9. However it happens also in vlc.
Tried vlc with TearFree on/off, vlc is itself just plain broken (libva errors) on my Fedora test box, mplayer works fine.
Mplayer/mpv works fine for me too. I belive, it's related to on screen controls.
