When I switch to the EGL backend there are glitches, like applications not disappearing from the panel when I close them: it is completely unusable. I'm not 100% sure but I remember having the same issue with Haswell. On the contrary it works flawlessly with radeonsi.

Linux 4.2.1, mesa 11.0.1, kwin 5.4.1. Distro is ArchLinux.

darkbasic@linuxsystems.it - I'm really sorry about this looooong delay until getting back to you. Is this problem still valid with newer kernels (preferable from drm-tip) ?
If yes then please add attachments according https://01.org/linuxgraphics/documentation/how-report-bugs.

Sorry, I didn't notice your previous comment. Upstream suggested me to not use EGL so I don't use it since a long time. If you are still interested to know if there are sill glitches I could switch to EGL for a while, otherwise I'm fine with the bug report being closed.
