Wayland does not seem to support display rotation like xrandr does. This is important for the newer generation Hybrid laptops from most major vendors, where the sensors can detect orientation, and accordingly the Xorg server can be rotated. Is there any plan on supporting this functionality in Wayland? My apologies if this is already there, or the bug has been filed. A quick search did not yield in anything relevant.
Hey. This is a compositor feature and not related to Wayland. weston supports it (check 'man weston.ini' and search for transform). GNOME plans to support it, but its not finished yet (see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=745079 ).
