Description treii28 2015-10-28 18:15:47 UTC
I recently upgraded to ubuntu 15.10 from 15.04 and I'm getting a number of intel1 drm related errors. The first that occurs is an adjusted_mode.crtc_clock mismatch. It then repeatedly throws SDE/irq errors in the log.

Among other things, the gnome-desktop manager will not start and my virtual-box drops into guru_meditation mode when it tries to set up the VGA settings. (since these are both related to the graphics support, I'm assuming they are related)

Please try v4.3-rc7 kernel.

Please add drm.debug=14 module parameter, and attach dmesg all the way from boot to the problem. Please attach logs as plain text, not zipped.
Comment 4 treii28 2015-10-28 18:49:21 UTC
the log was run with drm.debug=0xe

I'll re-add the whole thing as text

Hello,
Since last kernel reported on this bug is 4.2 that is quite old, I'll closed the bug, if this is still valid on latest kernel versions https://www.kernel.org/, please open a new bug and attach HW an SW information and logs.
Thank you and sorry for the long delay.
