Description Ralf Hillebrand 2006-12-07 01:39:34 UTC
On a system with the above graphics chip and the i810 driver the demo
application glxpixmap from the package mesademos crashes due to a broken context.

There is no problem on other machines with other graphics chips/cards.

The same problem orrurs in a Qt 4 example application and in out product MuPAD Pro
(www.mupad.com). At the moment we have no workaround and our application
crashes. This is a major problem for us.

The system in question is an Ubuntu Edgy Eft 32 bit installation with mesa 6.5.1.

Mesa 6.5.1 is old.

You should try a more up-to-date version.

AFAIK no DRI driver supports rendering to GLXPixmaps yet. Maybe those machines
don't have AIGLX?
