I think this is just a bug in the reference pages see my comments in bug 91670

Please clarify this with Kronos and convince them to update the reference pages:

Till this reference page is available on WWW, 
I can't consider this defect need to be close,
because may developers will consider it as it is.

This is not a Mesa bug so closing.
