Core dump from i915 driver mismatch with the integrated graphics controller on the UX32LN haswell hd4500, although apparently works as it should.

This bug affects me as well.

Running 4.3.3-2 on a HP Elitebook 840 G1

This is fixed for me in 4.4-rc5. I am running an HP ZBook 14 G1 (F0V14ET) with Intel HD Graphics 4400 and AMD FirePro M4100 (OLAND/Mars).

I can confirm it appears fixed for me. ZBook 14 F4P10PA.

I had the same error with the 4.3 kernels I tried. A fresh install of 4.4.0-12-generic from the Ubuntu repos and I no longer see this error.
