Hi,

I'm forwarding a bug from the debian BTS: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=803658

Apparently, with an intel card, if the i915 module is not loaded in the initramfs, plymouth is not displaying anything (and this is a problem if the disk is encrypted). I personally cannot reproduce this on a laptop with also an intel card.
