[ 147.734915] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace.
[ 147.734916] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[ 147.734917] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right component if it's not a kernel issue.
[ 147.734918] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so please always attach it.

iirc this bug is "fixed" by v4.8, reordering the contexts reload vs ring restart after hibernation.
Comment 3 Jari Tahvanainen 2017-03-29 11:31:07 UTC
Carlos, due to comment 2, please re-test with latest kernel (taken from drm-tip) and mark as REOPENED (again) if you can reproduce (and attach kernel log and card0/error data like you have done earlier) and RESOLVED/* if you cannot reproduce.
Comment 4 Jari Tahvanainen 2017-03-29 11:38:18 UTC
I also saw bug 99737 including [patch] which might fix this on these old kernels. For new ones ... need to check.

Hi I have forgot about this bug i been using the kernel 4.9 which have this fixed a while ago but now i got other problem is with thw kernels 4.9 4.10 i cant resume from suspend i got a black screen and hang i have to hard-reset by the power button
now im going to compile the kernel 4.4 with that patch and start using it since 4.1 kernel end of life soon the kernel 4.4 can resume from suspend and with the patch resume from hibernation thanks .
Comment 6 Carlos Jimenez 2017-04-02 22:12:25 UTC
That patch dont work it apply compiles and when you hibernate
and try to resume the system dont boot i mean resume just black screen and reboots
i cant get more info . with latest kernels of 4.4 branch
Comment 7 Chris Wilson 2017-04-04 20:46:14 UTC
Please do file a new bug for the resume issue, after verifying against upstream. This bug is best left as the GPU hang following hibernation which is confirmed fixed.

issue is solved and now closing - Cleaning our bug BD from resolved
