Description Rainer 2015-12-15 07:57:21 UTC
On leap 42.1 running colord-1.2.12, I do not have any device in the output of colormgr get-devices.

I profiled my monitor earlier when openSuSE 13.2 was still installed on the very same system. Everything worked fine. Then I reinstalled my system (except for /home) from scratch with leap42.1

Now I still can set my color-profiles using dispcalGUI but colormgr get-devices does not show any device.

A second problem is that colord-kde package is still configured with kde4 and in kde5 system settings there is no "color" item to open the colord control module.

This only works manually by running kcmshell4 kcm_colord. But then again there is no device shown I could select. There are profiles listed (like ADOBE RGB(1998), APPLE RGB, ...) but not the ones I created that are stored in ~/.config/color/icc/devices/display/ like eg
~/.config/color/icc/devices/display/SyncMaster 2014-07-11 D5500 2.2 M-S 1xCurve+MTX.icc

Seems to me like the current colord versions integration in kde5 is not working.

I think you need to file a bug against KDE, sorry. This doesn't look like a daemon bug at all.

Thanks. Ok, then I try to find out where it makes sens to file this bug.
