Description ArneJ 2015-12-25 02:55:02 UTC
I get very slow performance in games with my graphics card (R9 270X) since mesa 11.1. In mesa 11.0.8 everything was running fast as usual.

I tested dota 2 and Saints Row 4. Both work fine with 11.0.8 and are unplayably slow (<=1fps) with 11.1.

I bisected this issue to commit 525921ed51176255474c73adacfc6801a7bf2783.

If you need more information, please tell me.

That commit shouldn't have any effect unless the environment variable GALLIUM_DDEBUG is set.
Comment 2 ArneJ 2015-12-25 13:24:26 UTC
You're right. I just checked and GALLIUM_DDEBUG was still set from an earlier test with mesa git. I forgot it and now after the update that variable has an effect again.

Will close this as invalid.
Sorry for the noise.
