partial 3.19 kernel debug for comparison

for comparison purposes, because the error reported differs slightly, but appears to be the same bug -- same hardware behavior

The state checker has been improved since the kernels you've been running. Does the problem occur with latest kernels?
Comment 4 Ricardo 2017-02-22 16:02:35 UTC

Hello Ethan, is this valid for latest mainline https://www.kernel.org or latest tip https://cgit.freedesktop.org/drm-tip?? 4.14?

It is still valid as of 4.4.0-97 backported to Ubuntu 14.04. If someone can
provide a .deb for another version to test (eg via ppa) I will be happy to
test it.

Will an install, uname -a and dmesg of the amd64 lowlatency packages from
here suffice to answer your question?

Hello, a dmesg with the issue on 4.14 would be great help. Any special reason to use 14.04? Thank you.

14.04 is all I have access to at the moment. I will install the 4.14 kernel
and report back. Thank you!

First of all. Sorry about spam.
This is mass update for our bugs.

Sorry if you feel this annoying but with this trying to understand if bug still valid or not.
If bug investigation still in progress, please ignore this and I apologize!

If you think this is not anymore valid, please comment to the bug that can be closed.
If you haven't tested with our latest pre-upstream tree(drm-tip), can you do that also to see if issue is valid there still and if you cannot see issue there, please comment to the bug.
Comment 12 Jani Saarinen 2018-04-22 15:44:26 UTC
