The X server does print detailed timing section (ie. det_mon->type == DT ) but doesn't seem to use the content for modeline auto-probe.

The EDID standard timing section format cannot represent >2288 pixels X resolution, and it's a problem with recent hi-res wide displays.

Please look at the attached log and find no 2560x1440 modeline is probed.
