Hi. You don't need an SSH account to download any code; you can just download it anonymously, without any need for any kind of registration. Either you download releases in form of .tar.xz files, or you can clone the git repository if that is what you prefer.

Also, if you want to send patches for review and inclusion upstream, please note that you can just send them to the list with git-send-email.
