Bxt has aperture of size 256 terabytes (48bit vaddress space). We need a mechanism to limit the aperture in these platforms to allow eviction testing. As it would need machine with bigger physical memory size than the 48bit aperture, for eviction to kick in.

In my understanding the tests are now are failing because we don’t have that 256 terabytes of memory on the device. The test outputs would most probably show that. The only way to really test this today is to have a machine with more than 256 terabytes of memory. Only then you would be hitting the eviction mechanism. So this test would require some changes in order to work with our 48bit vaddress space.
