The isolated forms of U+0648 and U+06c6 are too high compared with the right-connected ones. You can see that on the image http://dejavu.sourceforge.net/wiki/images/c/c6/Kurdish-arabic-sample-OpenOffice.png at http://dejavu.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Kurdish. The characters in question are "و" and "ۆ", you can see the isolated form of "و" as well as the connetced form several times on the image. As you can see in the Tahoma example, they should be equally high.
Especially the "و" (Arabic WAW, U+0648) is not specific for Kurdish, but for all Arabic scripts including Arabic and Farsi.
