Description Erdal Ronahi 2006-12-23 03:48:34 UTC
The isolated forms of U+0648 and U+06c6 are too high compared with the
right-connected ones. You can see that on the image
http://dejavu.sourceforge.net/wiki/images/c/c6/Kurdish-arabic-sample-OpenOffice.png
at http://dejavu.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Kurdish.

The characters in question are "و" and "ۆ", you can see the isolated form of "و"
as well as the connetced form several times on the image.

As you can see in the Tahoma example, they should be equally high.
Comment 1 Erdal Ronahi 2006-12-23 03:54:20 UTC
Especially the "و" (Arabic WAW, U+0648) is not specific for Kurdish, but for all
Arabic scripts including Arabic and Farsi.
Comment 2 Ben Laenen 2006-12-27 06:52:48 UTC
This is now fixed in svn (revision 1422) and will be available in 2.14

Greetings
Ben
