drm-card0-error dump

... mostly a duplicate of one of the other `GPU HANG: ecode` or `stuck on render ring`, but I'm not sure which one.

Kernel Log is as follows:

[22006.326765] [drm] stuck on render ring
[22006.327216] [drm] GPU HANG: ecode 8:0:0x85df7c3b, in vmd_LINUX [16526], reason: Ring hung, action: reset
[22006.327218] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace.
[22006.327218] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[22006.327219] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right component if it's not a kernel issue.
[22006.327220] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so please always attach it.
[22006.327220] [drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error

Comment 1 Tiziano Müller 2016-03-16 08:04:56 UTC
Similar hangs with kernel-4.5.0
Comment 2 Jari Tahvanainen 2017-03-10 07:44:09 UTC
Tiziano - I'm really sorry for this loooong delay until getting back to you. If you have information with newest kernel, please provide it. And we might want to follow bug 100087, since it has exactly same symptoms. Different platform though so I did not yet mark these duplicates.
Comment 3 Jari Tahvanainen 2017-04-19 14:51:52 UTC
Timeout - marking resolved+worksforme.
