Description Matt Turner 2007-01-05 21:38:29 UTC
I was told by this message to report what graphics card I have.

It's a Sapphire X800 GTO2. It's an R480 core with 16 usable pipes after a BIOS
flash.

lspci | grep -i vga:
05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc R480 [Radeon X800 GTO
(PCIE)]

This message is (or better was, nowadays it refuses to run with unknown ids
though to my knowledge no such r300 chips exist) output by the mesa dri driver.
id 5D4F is recognized since at least mesa 6.5, so it seems your version is old.
