Description Marc Brockschmidt 2007-01-12 04:45:14 UTC
Hi,

The .pdf on http://www.openraw.org/files/2006rawsurveyreport.pdf has a
background image which is supposed to be half-transparent, so that the black
text on it is actually readable. poppler renders this image completly black and
thus makes parts of the text unreadable.

TIA,
Marc

Opaque in evince, but fine in Qt4 test application and kpdf.

Provisionally re-assigning to the Cairo backend.
Comment 2 Jeff Muizelaar 2007-11-30 20:37:14 UTC
seems fixed with the version in git
Comment 3 Carlos Garcia Campos 2008-02-27 11:30:20 UTC
Attached to evince bug http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=516829 there's a file where this is reproducible with current poppler. It works with splash backend.
Comment 4 Jeff Muizelaar 2008-03-02 19:25:34 UTC
Looks like it could be related to 11027
Comment 5 Carlos Garcia Campos 2009-07-20 11:48:42 UTC
Document 2006rawsurveyreport.pdf works for me with current poppler, and the document attached to gnome bug #516829 is actually another issue (blend modes which will be fixed soon btw).

Feel free to reopen this bug if the problem is still present for you with current poppler.
