I've got Ubuntu 16.04 with up to date oibaf drivers on Ivy Bridge laptop (i7-3520M). From time to time I get this in logs:

[53430.461898] drm/i915: Resetting chip after gpu hang

They usually come in groups of several and they most often (but not only) seem to happen after resume or when disabling screensaver.
