Description N. W. 2016-06-11 08:17:54 UTC
Hi,

unfortunately there does not seem to be any Kernel parameter available to configure the Broadcast RGB setting.

Unfortunately the default setting is "Automatic". I've read that you unfortunately don't want to change this:

https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94921

But could you please at least add a Kernel parameter, so that the user could switch from "Automatic" to "Full"?

Regards

There's a connector property to do this. We won't add a kernel parameter.

You mean to adjust the Broadcast RGB setting with xrandr?

But xrandr can only be used when X has already started.

How can I adjust the Broadcast RGB setting immediately upon boot?
