Description Ondřej Michálek 2007-01-14 18:15:28 UTC
Kubuntu Edgy Eft, X Window System v.1.1
When I restarted my laptop (ThinkPad Z60t) after using (only) external display
the whole session X server did not launch. When I log in and:
$ X
it respods:
$ Fatal server error:
$ no screens found

If I switch the display (using Fn-F7) so that the screen turns off, then
launch X server with
$ X
and then switch back the main screen black-white (gray) dotted screen with x
cursor appears. The resolution set is much lower than the display has.

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.
