Description Peter Hutterer 2016-06-24 04:30:36 UTC
Follow-up from bug 94755

We still have middle button emulation enabled on clickpads. Make that
a) configurable through the middle button emulation
b) disabled by default
c) if middle button emulation is *enabled* drop the middle software button area

Benefits:
the long-term plan was to have b) anyway, c) just gives us the benefit of being able to still have middle button access on a clickpad (even if hard/unreliable to trigger, see bug 94755) but avoids accidental middle button clicks.
