Description Peter Hutterer 2016-07-08 04:25:23 UTC
kernel patches for exposing HID++ power information through the normal power interfaces are queued for 4.8. See
https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/9204665/

Once this is in it requires a change in upower to drop the userspace handling of unifying devices and instead use the kernel-provided info. Filename is prefixed as hidpp_battery_%d, just in case that matters.

Has this patch been applied?

No, it hasn't.
