Are you using an APL RVP? In that case I suggested closing this, since without LSPCON support in the driver it's expected that you won't have a working HDMI output.
Yes, we still have an APL RVP Fab2 and hot plug events are working fine but hotplug after S3 still is not working. So, I guess we can close this.
