Created attachment 125098 [details] Short video which shows the screen flashing. Ignore the visible (light) background near top in the video, it's an artefact produced while recording. Some backstory: Lubuntu 16.04 didn't have `xserver-xorg-video-intel` installed by default, which caused some problems (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96795) but other than that playing 3D games and HD videos worked perfectly, so I installed that package and reinstalled other graphics components from Ubuntu's repository. This made the aforementioned bug go away, but created an issue where the screen flashes/flickers while playing games, while it is stable every other time. See attachment to see the flashing. (Recorded with SimpleScreenRecorder) xserver-xorg-video-intel, version: 2:2.99.917+git20160325-1ubuntu1 Kernel: 4.4.0-28-generic Distribution: Lubuntu 16.04 fresh install
Pardon me, I forgot to add an important detail: System: Lenovo G50-80 with Intel 5500 Integrated graphics chip (Broadwell-U Integrated Graphics, inside Core i3-5005U)
