Description Vladimir Plotnikov 2007-01-22 12:07:24 UTC
Good day!

I have GeForce 4 Ti 4200 VIVO AGP 8x(Philips 7108A tv encoder) card.
If I loading when my s-video cable is not plugged to videocard - than canvas is
pure, all works fine.
If load linux when cable is connected than canvas looks bad: color depth seems
low, refresh rate seems low too.
---------------------------------
If you 1. try to load linux while cable is not connected (canvas is pure)
2. Plug-in cable to card (pure)
3. Press detect display at nvidia-setting-->TV-0 detected (pure)
4. Configure (TV-0)-->TwinView (dust on general monitor, but all works fine on TV)
5. Configure (TV-0)-->Disabled (is still dust on general monitor. color depth
still seems low, as refresh rate seems low too)

I wish on step 4 looking TV, so its normal if general monitor shows canvas worse
than commonly.
But i wish to work with my general monitor on step 5, when I disable TV.
----------------------------------
PROBLEM

Connected TV disabled, but canvas in noise and dust.
----------------------------------
At windows when you connect TV - than behaviour looks like at linux,
but when you mark connected TV as unplugged - then noise disappeared and canvas
is backing to normal.

I want behaviour like at windows.

This problem still continious if use "nv" driver
