Comment 1 tom schorpp 2016-12-20 11:19:41 UTC
debian jessie versions
Comment 2 Chris Wilson 2016-12-20 13:24:41 UTC
Jessie is quite old wrt to graphics drivers and I know that several gen4 hangs have been fixed in mesa circa 11.0.
Comment 3 tom schorpp 2016-12-20 14:26:27 UTC
OK, will reportbug to debian.
Tried to reproduce with chromium for 2h now, but occurs no more.
Needs reboot to reactivate xv,gl,etc videoplayback, mplayer crashes since the hung.
Comment 4 Mark Janes 2016-12-20 15:20:43 UTC
Please verify that this bug reproduces with debian stretch before reporting anything to debian. It's likely that the root cause of your GPU hang has already been addressed.
