Can you attach kernel log and give some hints on the reason why you are suspecting i915?
Comment 2 Ricardo 2017-02-24 15:31:57 UTC
Hi please review prior comments and important to add logs, once you provided the necessary information please move the bug to REOPEN state
Comment 3 Glody Guo 2017-02-28 06:40:30 UTC
This issue only can be reproduce on latest kernel(4.10.0-rc1-11391-g81f56e3). On ChromeOS default kernel(v3.18 for SKL), it works well. So we assume it's kernel related issue.

Which kernel log do you want? We will retest it and will catch dmesg log and update this issue later.
Comment 4 Ricardo 2017-02-28 15:30:17 UTC
Once you update the bug with the dmesg please set the bug to REOPEN

kernel log when switch between console and UI
Comment 9 jenny cao 2017-06-19 06:50:20 UTC
close this bug since it is not a kernel bug and a patch in chromium can enable the console mode
