Steps to Reproduce:
1. From Wayland machine connect to Xorg client using SSH
2. run a spice client
3. keyboard stroke not recognised

Debug:

including the following information:

  - Operating system
  - GDK build
  - X11 Server
  - xprop -root
  - xdpyinfo

More simple reproducer is running in the wayland env:
GDK_BACKEND=x11 remote-viewer
