This attachment contains a URL to a screenshot I have taken to illustrate my problem.

In DejaVu Sans Mono, the tilde symbol ('~') lacks curvature to be clearly legible at size 12 on a screen with ~100 DPI. Please consider increasing the curvature (like what Hack did) to make it more legible on these screens.
